The Chateau Gallery hosts monthly exhibitions. Calls for artists are open to national and international artists aged 18 and older. TCG takes a unique approach to our exhibitions by exploring classical themes in a less conventional and more intriguing style. Embracing the classical with a modern twist creates a captivating and thought-provoking ambiance. TCG attracts artists eager to experiment with different artistic forms and mediums, resulting in a rich and eclectic mix of artworks for each exhibition. Abandoned is an exhibition exploring abandoned and rediscovered objects, spaces, and structures. Through the captured image, we can glimpse the ephemeral nature and memory of ourselves and our surroundings and preserve them before being lost to time and place. What do these structures and objects convey about society as we leave them to decay? What is the essence of time and place, and what-or whom-are we abandoning?
Abandoned is an international open call for photographers ages 18 and older. All forms of two-dimensional images, traditional and non-conventional media, and conventional or alternative processes with a subjective analog or digital photographic base are welcome for submission.
